Dear residents this weeks round up from Foleshill Neighbourhood Police Team
Here is a roundup of what the Foleshill Neighbourhood team officers have been doing this week.
OUR Priorities
Our priorities are now business crime; this is an issue all over the Northeast and officers are proactively patrolling the affected areas. We have officers in plain clothes as well as in hi visibility uniform.
IN OTHER NEWS
This week officers from the Foleshill neighbourhood team and the priority crime team were busy causing disruption to criminal activity over the Northeast of the city. Officers took part in #op advance, this was a large multi-agency operation tackling the matters that mean the most to residents.
The team have again been working alongside the North East Priority Team visiting three businesses in a joint operation with trading standards officers. These visits saw thousands of counterfeit cigarettes, vapes and tobacco being seized by trading standards and will be destroyed. As part of opp advance four arrests were made throughout the day from Edgwick Park, these were for multiple drugs offences and one hi powered electric bike was seized from the same location.
We also had mounted officers join us with two of therepolice horses, the mounted officers patrolled Stoney Stanton Road and Foleshill Road and also put in an appearance in Edgwick park.
Local PCSO’s completed joint patrols with the council enforcement offices giving out tickets in various areas of Foleshill for parking.
Foleshill officers were alerted to that ASB was taking place in a tower block car park. Officers arrived to find males sleeping rough in an abandoned van. Officers were able to seize the vehicle for no current tax and the males were sent on their way. This solved the issues of ASB and officers were thnked by concerns residents
